7 min Frosting

? egg whites
3 cups sugar
15 tsp. water
1/2 teas. cream tarter
? Tbls. vanilla

Put egg whites, sugar
water and corn syrup
in upper part of double boiler.
Beat with rotary egg beater until
mixed. Place over boiling water, beat with
rotary egg beater.

1 cup hot water
1 tsp salt
6 tbl. shortning
1/3 cup sugar
1 small yeast
2 Tbl lukewarm water
1 egg well beaten
4 cups flour
for pans

Butter
1 cup brown sugar
3 Tbl corn syrup or honey
dash salt
1/4 cup water
